It’s official: The DSLR Video Workshop is off and running!
Thank you so much to everyone who attended last night’s workshop in Denver! This workshop is definitely much more intimate and personal than any tour I’ve done in the past, which is really awesome because it allows students incredible access to share ideas with Jared Abrams and me.
Last night we spent a ton of quality time answering questions and passing around some really cool gear. It was really exciting seeing everyone’s lightbulb turn on as we discussed the future of the photography business.
Also, a big thanks to all my fantastic sponsors who are making this workshop possible: B&H, SmugMug and Silverlake Photo Accessories!
In case you’re still on the fence about attending this workshop, here’s a sampling of what people are saying about last night:
“This is a true subject specific workshop, an intense immersion into the use of equipment, workflow and how to market. Would you rather be ready for the next twist in portrait photography or ahead of the pack? Something for those new to using video as well as the experienced! I learned a lot! Thanks Sam!” – Stephanie Conrad
“We all know a photographer who was left behind when digital came into the picture. Video is the next revolution in the digital photography world. Don’t be left behind. Take this class and learn how incorporating video can help your photography business grow. I am telling all my friends about this class. It was a great learning experience. Thank you Sandy and Jared.” – Sara Karam
“It was a GREAT success. I learned more last night than from several previous “video seminars” combined. Convinced good friend and photo colleague Suzanne Shaff to sign up for your show tonight in Minneapolis. -Barry Staver
With the first workshop in the books, we made our way to Minnapolis super early this morning (3:30!) for tonight’s workshop at the Holiday Inn Metrodome. Can’t wait to see everyone tonight and do it all over again!
