After a couple awesome stops in Kansas City and Omaha over the weekend, Monday the crew and I made our way to St. Louis, which is always one of my favorite stops because of loyal tour attendee and total sweetheart Katie Weber.
Katie, who owns Kay Web Photography, attends every tour, and at each show she brings with her something for the crew and me.
Monday Katie completely blew everyone away, again, and brought dinner and desert—homemade, mouth-watering cinnamon rolls and a huge stack of pizzas from St. Louis’ own Imo’s Pizza.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Katie! Your kindness and generosity are absolutely amazing!
Along with pigging out, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Katie and critiquing some of her work, which continues to blow me away. Keep it up, girl! Check out the awesome video that Katie’s friend, Sarah Crowder, made detailing the experience.
While I was a bit too tired to join them, the crew enjoyed a night out on the town, where I’m told an extremely competitive game of bean bags went down. Everyone had a really great time, and though I can’t confirm, it sounds like Nate from GNP emerged victorious.
After Kentucky, we were off to Indianapolis for our fourth incredible show in four days.
Once again we were graciously provided the gift of some truly delicious, unfortunately non-nutritious food, as a volunteer from Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep gave us a fantastic Easter candy basket. Unfortunately (or thankfully), the basket full of delicious sweets was first given to our trainer.
Safe to say I was busted.
Today we’re enjoying a day off in Columbus, Ohio, after last night’s show in Indianapolis (where Jerry Ghionis was asked by an attendee to sign her breasts, which according to him, means that he has now “arrived.”)
We’ve spent most of our day off inside our hotel room resting and regrouping with the cold and snowy weather outside. Days off like today are extremely valuable, as we’re preparing for out next tour covering DSLR video implementation with the incredibly talented Jared Abrams. (More on that tour tomorrow!)
Because of the inclement weather, Brandon’s kickball game has been moved to Lancaster, Ohio. I’m not usually a big trash talker, but I can guarantee you that Team Sam is going to destroy the competition! … Check back soon for some video highlights.
