Historically, January can be one of the slowest months of the year for photographers which is why I encourage you to try having a Winter White Sale in 2014. This sale allows your clients to order from 2013 sessions at a slightly reduced rate. It’s perfect for the mom who is longing for that one image she just couldn’t justify at the time but can’t get out of her mind. I find many clients use the White Sale as a time to buy additional portraits for family members because they know exactly which images everyone liked best.
