We are all anticipating a howling good time this October 27th when we host our 5th Halloween Charity event. Each year the bash gets bigger and bigger, and more people come to partake in the excitement. The event has two beneficiaries, the Children’s Hospital Blood Bank and the Food Bank of the Rockies.
It’s a fun and busy day with over 300 guests coming through our open house, which will feature a scary cemetery, haunted house, creepy hallways, a toddler-friendly pumpkin patch, music, snacks, trick or treating and fun!
For every canned food item or $5 donation, guests receive one 4×5 portrait of their little “trick or treater” on the porch of the haunted house set. Guests may feel free to bring a camera and snap away in our pumpkin patch.
We are known as a studio that loves to reach out to others, and this event is just one way to share our blessings. We’ve been told by officials of the Food Bank of the Rockies that our little event brings in more tons of food in one day than most other locations do in a week. We also have the donor bus for the Children’s Hospital available for blood donations all morning.
Another fun bonus is seeing all the Expressions’ employee’s creativity in the costumes they select. If you’re in the area, stop by and say hello—and if you can, bring along some canned goods or roll up your sleeve and give a pint of blood.
